REGRESAR

Enrollment for Foreign Students By Resolution M.E. Y C. Nº 1523/90

The National Ministry of Education and Science have launched an international educational cooperation program that offers quotas for undergraduate students (first degree) in Argentine national universities to nonresident foreign citizens. This system involves granting of vacancies in public universities under the same conditions as Argentine citizens.
Through this program, the applicants can manage their registration to a national university from their home country. The procedure is done through the Argentine embassy.

FEATURES

The program is intended to foreign citizens, without residence in the Argentine territory, and who are physically located in their home country.

The applicants will be exempted from completing the requirements of revalidation of mid-level studies at the beginning of their studies

Universities will establish the amount of vacancies available for each course, which will be distributed by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, as required by the different representations.

The degree awarded does not enable the graduate to practice in Argentina. In order to practice in the Republic, the graduate should make the appropriate arrangements with the National Ministry of Education and Science, and must take the exams determined by the Ministry to obtain an authorization certificate.

The Representation will interview the candidates. It will be considered for the application the grades obtained in high school studies, as well as certification of good behavior, knowledge of the Spanish language and the financial possibilities of the student in the Republic.

Once the pre-registration is complete, and upon arrival to Argentina, the student must report to the university with the receipt issued by the Representation to formalize their enrolment and to complete the formalities before the National Immigration to obtain the visa.

Requests and grants of quotas are made in the last months of the year and correspond to registrations for the following academic year

Universities reserve the right to impose other requirements according to what each considers necessary to apply for proper evaluation of the candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

In Israel:

Upon request in the Argentine Embassy or Consulate of a vacancy for a first degree course in a National University, the applicants must inform the Representation of their personal data.
