The Cultural Section plays an active role in promoting Argentine cultural expressions in the State of Israel and Cyprus, contributing to raising the profile and visibility of Argentina in both societies.
Its main objective is to promote and broaden the presence of Argentine culture through cooperation, support and the development of cultural initiatives and activities.
Among its main functions are:
- Promoting Argentine music, literature, cinema, theatre, visual arts, dance and other cultural expressions.
- Supporting and facilitating the participation of Argentine artists, writers, filmmakers, musicians and cultural professionals in activities and events in Israel and Cyprus.
- Encouraging cooperation between Argentine and local cultural institutions, universities, museums, theatres, festivals and other organizations.
- Organizing and supporting cultural events, exhibitions, screenings, conferences, performances and commemorative activities.
- Promoting cultural exchange and dialogue between Argentina, Israel and Cyprus.
- Disseminating information on Argentine cultural activities, institutions and initiatives.
- Strengthening links with local cultural actors and communities interested in Argentine culture.
- Contributing to the promotion of Argentina’s cultural diversity and heritage, as well as its contemporary artistic production.
Through these activities, the Cultural Section seeks to strengthen mutual understanding and foster lasting cultural ties between Argentina, Israel and Cyprus.
